Carol Adams

Soldiers’ Angels
2021 NAC Female Volunteer of the Year
FL
Carol Adams has been a volunteer with Soldiers’ Angels since June 2018. In that time, she has accomplished amazing things. Carol is the Soldiers’ Angels Orlando Mobile Distribution Coordinator. She ensures that the basic need of providing food to Veterans is met by coordinating, managing, and planning to have the food available for over 200 Veterans per month - distributing over 25,000 pounds of food.

Carol coordinates numerous activities for all Veterans, including hospitalized Veterans, outpatient, and indigent Veterans. She has distributed thousands of items, to include candy, coffee, donuts, Mary Kay products, facemasks, Girl Scout cookies, and Boy Scout popcorn. She organizes events to share angel pins, dog tags and thank you cards to Veterans.

Carol is an exceptional volunteer that never hesitates to accept any task asked of her. She has traveled the county, city, state, and nation providing food and comfort to Veterans in need. She steps up as a volunteer in multiple capacities and is always willing to help in any means of supporting “her Veterans” who she treats as family and friends. She works to not only promote the needs of the VA and the Veterans but goes above and beyond to overcome any obstacles while ignoring any personal inconveniences. Carol has stood in rain, hail, sleet, and snowstorms distributing food to Veterans in Detroit.

Carol Adams embodies the mission of Soldiers’ Angels. A true angel herself, Carol provides aid, comfort, and resources. She ensures that no soldier goes unloved, that no soldier walks alone, and no soldier is forgotten.
